Lower complexity algorithms with fewer pain-altered behaviours showed similar predictive capacity (AUC 90.1–90.6) to full UPAPS (90.58). A shorter UPAPS version did not influence predictive capacity, suggesting easier, consistent implementation for pain monitoring.",
