  "summary": "This study evaluated five topical products (Iodine, Oinkment®, PhytoCare®, Vetericyn®, Zinc Oxide) on wound healing, inflammation, and growth in 190 castrated piglets. Applied once post-castration, none of the products improved wound healing or reduced systemic inflammation. Body weight and survival were unaffected. IRT showed promise as an inflammatory indicator, while PGE₂ and haptoglobin had limited utility. Future research on repeated applications and behavioural indicators is suggested.",
