FAIR data and provenance
This catalogue is FAIR-aligned: its records are designed to be findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable. It is not a certification, and approved APVMA labels remain the legal authority.
Persistent identifiers and discovery
The APVMA product number is the record identifier. Product URLs include that number; a changed display-name slug redirects to the current canonical URL. Records are searchable, appear in sitemap.xml, have JSON twins, and are described by DCAT-style JSON-LD metadata.
Access and interoperability
Data are available over HTTPS through ordinary HTML, JSON, RSS and a read-only REST API. The OpenAPI document and API and MCP guide describe these interfaces. Product numbers, approval numbers, source URLs, label pages and controlled slugs are included in the responses; slugs are stable URL-safe labels, not substitutes for APVMA identifiers.
Reuse, licence and provenance
APVMA PubCRIS source material is attributed under CC BY 3.0 AU. Catalogue-authored metadata and documentation are available under CC BY 4.0. Approved-label PDFs and their content are linked as authoritative sources and are not relicensed by this catalogue. Every product-derived API and MCP response includes source, retrieval, extraction and validation context where available.
